Two traders in front of the same chart rarely draw the same support and resistance levels. Edo S/R Zones removes that subjectivity: it starts only from pivots the market has confirmed and turns them into zones with a score, a state and a role. For the idea behind ranking levels, read how to rank support and resistance by touches, time and volume.
Zones, not lines
Price does not respect an exact number but an area. The indicator gathers the confirmed pivots that fall at the same height into a single zone whose thickness is measured in ATR, so the same logic works on an index, a currency pair or a cryptocurrency. The inner edge of each new zone is fitted to the nearest volume node, so the zone rests on the price where trading really took place.
A score from 0 to 100
Not every zone deserves the same attention. Each one is scored by its touches, the time it has stood and the volume of the candles that formed it, minus points for every time it has changed role. A zone price has respected six times over months weighs far more than a recent double bottom, and the score is written on the zone so you can read the hierarchy at a glance.
States and role
Every zone is followed bar by bar and marked as Active, Tested, Reclaimed or Broken, and a break on volume is told apart from one without it. The role is dynamic: the same zone is support while price is above it and resistance while price is below it, so a broken level keeps its place on the chart with its role inverted.
Rejections and retests: context, not entries
A triangle marks a rejection when price enters one of the two nearest zones and leaves with a long wick; a diamond marks the retest of a broken zone, coloured by volume. They record what happened at the level. They are not entry signals, and the manual says so plainly: tested as stand-alone entries, they show no edge.
Panel, labels and alerts
Labels in the right margin show each zone's role, state, score, touches and range. The panel points to the nearest resistance above price and the nearest support below it with the percentage distance to each, and recalls the last event. Ten alerts cover new zones, reactivations, tests, breaks, rejections and retests, all validated on closed bars.
